Forbis Logistics, a Ferreycorp company specializing in international cargo agency services, has doubled the capacity of its main warehouse, located in Miami. This expansion, carried out as the company celebrates 15 years of operation, boosts its primary cargo agency line of business and strengthens its warehousing and distribution services in the United States, which were launched in 2024.

This expansion, coupled with an incremental adoption of automation technologies in cargo management, responds to the business’s growth and its development plans. The company reached sales of US$ 32 million through October, marking double-digit growth compared to the same period in 2024, driven particularly by international, maritime, and air cargo agency services.

Driving the Business

With its increased capacity in Miami, which now totals 6,500 sq. m. (6,500 m2), Forbis Logistics aims to offer cargo consolidation for clients at this location, seeking to expand the scope of the service it traditionally provides. Furthermore, it is preparing to launch other services, such as pick & pack—which combines product retrieval in the warehouse with packaging for shipment—in the US.

In terms of technology, Forbis Logistics has modernized its dimensioning system with two new high-productivity devices that automate cargo intake and dimensioning. At the same time, it has incorporated Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology for greater traceability. It also plans to implement an automated rack system.

Forbis’s international cargo agency services reach more than 60 countries through an extensive network of partners. Notably, the company advanced from the fifth to the fourth position in the ranking of air cargo agents with the highest tonnage transported from around the world to Peru, and it maintained the second position on the air route from the United States to our country.
